Rock Paper Scissors

 

To play, you and a friend each choose one card, keeping it hidden so your friend can't see what you chose. Then count to 3 and both of you flip over your cards to see who wins.

 

Fire (Red) beats Earth (Green)

Earth (Green) beats Water (Blue)

Water (Blue) beats Fire (Red)

If you have the same color you tie.

 

Dragon Battle

Play when you have several cards. Make sure your cards are marked so you know which belong to you and you can get them back at the end of the game.

  • Mix up the cards and divide them evenly between players
  • Each player flips over the top card from their stack at the same time
    • Fire (Red) beats Earth (Green)
    • Earth (Green) beats Water (Blue)
    • Water (Blue) beats Fire (Red)
    • If you have the same color you tie
  • If the cards flipped are the same color, the oldest creature wins
  • If your creatures are the same color and age your dragons battle:
    • For a battle each player adds two new cards face down and one additional card face up
    • If you have the same color, the oldest creature wins
    • If you tie again, you battle again
  • The winner adds both cards to their win pile.
  • Play continues until a player runs out of cards.

 

Mythics Battle

This game is for two players and requires a die. Each player must have at least three Reading Dragons cards.

  • Players shuffle their deck; each player puts three of their cards face down in front of them
  • From either player’s deck, put three cards face up in the middle of the two rows of facedown cards
  • Players flip their cards over in a face off:
    • The strongest card wins based on age:
      • Adult > Child > Baby > Egg
    • If cards are the same age, the winner is based on the creature type:
      • Starters/Special Cards > Dragon > Griffin > Unicorn
    • If the cards are both the same age and creature the winner is based on the card color
      • Fire (Red) beats Earth (Green)
      • Earth (Green) beats Water (Blue)
      • Water (Blue) beats Fire (Red)
    • If the cards remain a tie after age, creature type and color, the players will each roll a die, the higher roll wins
